Step-to-step Instructions

  1. Just like you do while baking any cupcakes, the first step is to preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with cupcake paper liners.
  2. The second step is to prepare a batter by whisking together all the dry ingredients, flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt before adding wet ingredients to minimise lumps in the batter.
  3. Add oil, melted butter, vanilla extract, eggs, red food colouring, white vinegar, and whisk together in a separate bowl.
